  • O’DONNELL & COLE EARN GNAC ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS

    BOSTON, Mass. – Senior forward Colin O’Donnell (Killingworth, Conn.) and sophomore midfielder Travis Cole (Beckley, W.Va.) have been named to the 2016 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer All-Conference team, it was announced by the conference office Monday morning. O’Donnell was tabbed to the Second Team while Cole earns Third Team honors.

    BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College men's soccer team will travel to Providence, R.I. to take on Johnson & Wales University in the 2016 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Quarterfinals this Saturday, October 29 with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 PM. The Saints earn the No. 6 seed in the eight-team field while the Wildcats boast the No. 3 seed, seeking the programs fourth consecutive GNAC title.

    PROVIDENCE, RI – It's been more than a month since the Johnson & Wales University men's soccer team has given up more than two goals. The Wildcats pitched their sixth shutout of the year, and third in the last four games, as they downed Emmanuel College, 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon.

    BOSTON, Mass. - Men's Soccer freshman goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrarini (Hanover, Mass.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the conference office yesterday morning. The honor marks the first time of the keeper's career that he's been recognized by the conference.

    BOSTON, Mass. – Sophomores Travis Cole (Beckley, W.V.) and Alex DeSaulnier (Wilbraham, Mass.) scored second half goals to power the Emmanuel College men’s soccer team over Rivier University, 2-0, Saturday afternoon at Roberto Clemente Field in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action. The win gets the Saints back to .500 on the year at 7-7-2 overall and 3-3-1 in GNAC play while the loss drops the Raiders to 7-6-1 and 3-3-1.

    BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Jordan Maurer (Florence, Mass.) scored one goal and assisted on another to Emmanuel College past Lesley University, 2-0, Wednesday evening in non-conference Men’s Soccer action at Roberto Clemente Field. The Saints improve to 6-7-2 overall while the loss drops the Lynx to 2-10-1 on the year.

This marks the second time this year O’Donnell has been honored by the conference earning Weekly Honor Roll status back on September 6.

    BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Men’s Soccer Team improved to 5-1-2 on its home field with a 3-0 shutout of Anna Maria College on Saturday afternoon at Roberto Clemente Field. With the victory, Emmanuel now stands at 5-6-2 on the season and 2-2-1 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action. The loss dropped the visiting AMCats to 2-8-1 overall and 1-3-1 in league play.

The Saints improved to 4-6-2 overall and 1-2-1 GNAC with the victory, while the Lasers dropped to 1-10 on the season and 0-5 in league play with the loss.

The tie moves the Saints to 2-1-1 on the year and 0-0-1 in GNAC play while the Cadets now stand at 1-2-1 and 0-0-1 in the GNAC.

    BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College men’s soccer team cruised to a 12-0 victory over Wheelock College Thursday evening in non-conference action at Roberto Clemente Field. The Saints improve to 2-1 on the year while the loss drops the Wildcats to 0-4 overall. EC set several new program records during the victory including goals scored (12) and 31 team points (12 goals, seven assists). Nine players scored in the win, a new single-game record with three players scoring multiple goals which was also a program-first.
