  • QUAYE TABBED TO GNAC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

    WINTHROP, Mass. – Junior David Quaye (Ashburnham, Mass.) has been named to the 2017 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men’s Soccer All-Conference team, it was announced by the conference office on Monday morning. Quaye appears on the GNAC All-Conference list for the second time in his career, earning GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team honors during his 2015 rookie campaign.
  • CADETS TOO MUCH FOR SAINTS IN GNAC QUARTERFINALS

    NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Norwich University scored a goal in each half en route to a 2-0 victory over Emmanuel College Sunday afternoon in the 2017 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Quarterfinals. The No. 3 Cadets hold seed and move on to the Semifinals while the loss ends the season for the No. 6 Saints.

    BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College men's soccer team will travel to Northfield, Vt. to take on Norwich University in the 2017 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Quarterfinals this Sunday, October 29 with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 PM. The Saints come in as the No. 6 seed in the eight-team field while the Cadets boast the No. 3 seed, also seeking the programs fifth all-time GNAC title.

    WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Ryan Stokes (Fairport, NY) scored two second half goals and sophomore Matt Mulligan (Columbia, CT) notched a goal and an assist as the WPI men’s soccer team blanked Emmanuel 4-0 in a non-conference match Wednesday night in Alumni Stadium.
  • MEN'S SOCCER DRAWS AGAINST REGIS

    WESTON, Mass. - Junior Derek Triana (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) matched the single-season Regis (Mass.) men’s soccer goal-scoring record with his 13th goal of the season on Saturday afternoon as the Pride played the visiting Emmanuel College Saints to a 1-1 double overtime draw in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at Regis Stadium. With the draw, the Pride moves to 8-7-1 on the season and ends the GNAC regular season at 5-4-1 in conference play. The Saints move to 3-7-7 overall and 3-2-5 in the GNAC.

The final score read Monks 6, Saints 0 in tonight’s Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at Roberto Clemente Field.

    The Lead: Freshman midfielder Jack O’Connor scored first to give the Rams a first half lead which they would hang onto until Eymar Principe (Caracas, Venezuela) buried a goal early in the second half to even the score for the Saints. The two teams battled throughout overtime with the game ending in a 1-1 draw in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at Roberto Clemente Field.

    The Lead: Junior defender Travis Cole (Beckley, W.V.) scored his second goal of the season to give the Saints a first half lead which they would hang onto until Justyn Broderick buried a goal late in regulation to even the score. The two teams battled throughout overtime with the game ending in a 1-1 draw in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at Roberto Clemente Field.

    Cambridge, Mass—The Lesley University Men's Soccer team hosted Emmanuel College in a non-conference battle at Edwards Field on Saturday afternoon. Neither team was able to net a goal in the match and ended with 0-0 tie after the second overtime.  Lesley now sits at 3-5-2 on the season, while Emmanuel is 1-5-4.

    (Nashua, N.H.) The Rivier University Men's Soccer team earned their first Great Northeast Athletic Conference point of the season this afternoon as they tied visiting Emmanuel College, 0-0 up on Raider Field. The tie moves the Raiders' overall record to 1-3-1 and 0-0-1 in the GNAC while the Saints slide to 0-4-2, 0-0-1 GNAC.

    BOSTON, Mass. – The Newbury College men's soccer team collected its first win of the season this afternoon over visiting Emmanuel College in the Nighthawks home opener at Hellenic Field, 4-3.  The physical match ended less than two minutes into the first overtime period when freshman midfielder Ronald Giraldo (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) redirected a touch from sophomore forward Carlos Diego (Lawrence, Mass.).

    BOSTON, Mass. - With help of a goal from sophomore Gavin Faucette (Oakland, Calif.) and an own goal committed by Emmanuel, the Emerson College men's soccer team made their way into the win column with a 2-1 triumph over the Saints in non-conference men's soccer action on Saturday night at Rotch Field.
