Now in his fourth year at Emmanuel, Rixham serves as the department's Director of Athletic Communications, following a promotion in August 2023. Rixham was appointed to the role of scheduling coordinator in the Summer of 2024.

Rixham was a member of the 2022 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) SID Staff of the Year, bestowed to the Emmanuel SID office for the 2021-22 academic year.

Under the Athletic Communications role, Rixham is responsible for covering all 16 of the Saints NCAA Division III programs in a variety of areas including keeping statistics on each team, preparing post-game materials such as score updates and game story releases, and promoting each sport across the social media channels of the Emmanuel College Saints, among other duties.

As a Department Coordinator, Rixham will oversee members of the Game Day Operations Internship Program.

Rixham comes to Emmanuel following two years as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communication at Becker College, where he oversaw communications for their 12 NCAA Division III
programs.

While on the Hawks staff, Rixham was responsible for all statistical data, coordinating live video and stats for home games, and updates to the Hawks athletic website and social media pages, among other responsibilities.

Prior to Becker, Rixham served as the Sports Information Director at Newbury College for three years, where he oversaw communications for their 14 NCAA Division III programs.

A native of Northbridge, Mass., Rixham graduated from Worcester State University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Communication, concentrated in Journalism.

A former Division III student-athlete, Rixham helped bring the Worcester State Golf Team its first conference championship in 30 years after winning the MASCAC in 2015. Then captain of the Lancers, Rixham's performance in the conference championship earned him the MASCAC Individual Golfer of the Year Award.

Still an avid golfer, Rixham has played in six Mass Golf Amateur Public Links Championships, made three cuts in the event, and has a career-best finish of 36th in 2021.
