The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) named Emmanuel's junior guard Rob Williams-Hinton the men's basketball Player of the Week for the week ending January 12, 2008. Williams-Hinton powered the Saints to a 3-0 week, leading the team in scoring in all three games. He shot 22 for 45 (49%) from the floor and 7 for 9 (78%) from the free throw line, while also averaging 7.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. Williams-Hinton led the Saints to big GNAC wins over Daniel Webster College on Tuesday, Suffolk University on Thursday, and Mount Ida College on Saturday.
