SAINTS CRUISE TO 3-0 WIN OVER CRUSADERS

Boston, Mass. - The Emmanuel Women's Volleyball Team cruised past Eastern Nazarene College on Tuesday night in non-conference action at the Jean Yawkey Center. Emmanuel defeated ENC in straight sets, 25-21, 25-10, 25-14. With this win, the Saints extended their win streak to four matches and improved to 5-3 on the season, while the Crusaders fell to 3-4 overall.

Freshman outside hitter Jenna Ross (Centerburg, OH) led the way for Emmanuel, nearly recording her first career double-double. Ross slammed down 9 kills, hitting .412 for the match, while also tallying 11 digs and 3 service aces in the win. Senior outside hitter Lindsey Parker (New Bedford, MA) notched 8 winners and 5 digs.

Sophomore libero Megan Clary (Cumberland, RI) led the Saints' defense with 15 digs, while junior middle Nicole McAllister totaled 3 solo blocks at the net. Rookie setters Kathryne Olsen (Fairhaven, MA) and Cynthia Hernandez (South Dennis, MA) combined to dish out 25 assists for the Saints.

The 5-3 Saints will play at home again on Thursday night (9/18), when they host the 7-2 Colonials of Western Connecticut State University in a non-conference match.
