Emmanuel College's Fiona O'Dwyer helped the Saints to a tournament championship over the winter break at California Lutheran's Holiday Classic. O'Dwyer averaged 11.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in the tournament and was named to the All-Tournament Team. The freshman forward shot 10-17 (58.8%) from the floor and also blocked two shots, as the Saints defeated North Park and \#10 Messiah College.

The rookie from Stamford, Connecticut has started in 2 of her 9 games played and is currently the Saints 4th leading scorer. Following her All-Tournament Team recognition in California, O'Dwyer was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference's Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week.

O'Dwyer and the Saints will take on 17th-ranked Tufts University in Medford, Mass. on Tuesday night (1/5) and will then return home to host Saint Joseph's College (Maine) in the GNAC opener on Thursday night (1/7).
