picked up its 20th win of the season with a 92-68 victory over
Emmanuel College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play on
Saturday afternoon. The win improves the Falcons to 20-1 on the
year, while they move to an unblemished 15-0 mark in GNAC play. The
loss puts the Saints at 8-6 in the league standings, while they
fall to 9-12 overall.

with 20 or more points. Watson's 24-point effort in today's contest
marked his 13th game with 20 or more points as well. Emmanuel took
their largest lead of the game in the first five minutes of play as
the Saints went up by six points. After tying the game at 19 at the
10:23 mark of the first half, the Falcons went on a 12-4 run to
extend their lead to eight before going into the break with a 43-34
lead.

led by 14 points from Watson. On the afternoon, Albertus scored 42
points in the paint and 23 points off of 21 Saints' turnovers .
Four players for Emmanuel fouled out in today's contest, forcing

players on the court due to the lack of subs.
The Saints were led by junior guard Michael Mailhot
(Norwich, Conn.), who tied his career high with 25 points on the
afternoon. Mailhot went 9 for 20 from the field, grabbed 5 rebounds
and dished out 3 assists in the 39-minute effort. Classmate Xavier
Everson (Rochester, N.Y.) was the only other Emmanuel player in
double figures, scoring 10 points to go along with his team-high 8
boards. Isaiah
Duke (Albany, N.Y.) and Brandon Jones
(Windsor, Conn.) each scored 8 for the Saints.

shy of the Albertus Magnus men's basketball record of 2,234 held by
Tim Russell '05. The senior, who already holds the Albertus and
GNAC record in total rebounds, used today's tally of eight to
extend his career total to 1,102.
With their 15th straight win, the Falcons have put themselves
into a position to break the program's record of wins in a single
season. With four regular season games left on the schedule and a
postseason appearance already clinched, the Falcons need just three
more wins to tie the program record of 23 victories, which was
accomplished in 2009-10.
The Falcons will play their final non-conference game of the
regular season on Tuesday night as they travel to Hartford to take
on Trinity. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Emmanuel will
travel to Suffolk University on Tuesday night for a cross-town
rivalry beginning at 7:30 PM.
