HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Dullaghan helped EC get off to a quick start with her fifth tally of the year at the 10:10 marker, putting away a pass from junior forward Addie LeGault (Farmington, Conn.) to make it 1-0.
  • At the 21:07 mark, Dullaghan netted her second of the day and GNAC-leading sixth of the year on an unassisted score to bump the visitors lead to 2-0.
  • First year Sydney Sears (Jericho, Vt.) got into the scoring column for the second time this season during the 37th minute, hooking up with junior Rory Mahoney () for a dynamic combination to give Emmanuel a comfortable three-goal advantage heading into halftime.
  • The Saints owned an 11-3 advantage in shots and a 4-0 margin in corners after a strong first-half performance.
  • EC went on to outshoot the Blue Jays by an 11-3 advantage in the second half but the hosts kept the Saints offense in check, limiting the damage to the three first-half goals as Emmanuel held on for the 3-0 road win to improve to 5-1 on the year, matching the program's best start since 2011.
