BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College women's basketball team triumphed 63-58 over Emmanuel Tuesday evening at the Bobbi Brown & Steven Plofker Gym.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emerson controlled a slim 10-9 lead after the opening quarter of play.
- The Lions narrowly outscored the Saints 17-16 in the second frame to sport a 27-25 lead at the half.
- The home team poured in 16 points in the third while limiting Emmanuel to seven points in the quarter to carry a 43-32 advantage into the final period.
- Emerson stretch the margin to 14 points, 46-32, with 8:58 remaining in regulation as Kendra Dodd (Tampa, Fla.) splashed a trey.
- Despite the visitors finished with a 26-20 edge in fourth-quarter scoring, the Lions held on to earn their third-straight home victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Kendra Dodd (Tampa, Fla.) netted a team-high 15 points, sinking five three-pointers on the night.
- Claire English (Winchester, Mass.) posted her sixth double-double of the season, tallying 14 points and grabbing 11 boards to go with five blocks.
- Charlotte Levison (Atherton, Calif.) finished with 14 points and eight rebounds.
- Bri Frongillo (Hopedale, Mass.) chipped in with eight points, seven boards, and five assists.
- Emerson concluded the contest with a field-goal percentage of 44.7% and connected on 6-of-21 from three-point territory.
- Emmanuel shot 35% from the floor and 42.9% from behind the arc.
- Tyra Blye paced the Saints with 17 points while Olivia Matela scored 16 points.
