BOSTON – A six-goal, unanswered run in the first half for Emmanuel women's lacrosse helped the Saints outscore the Pride 8-2 in the opening 30 minutes, leading the Saints to a 13-7 win over the Regis Pride on Saturday afternoon at Clemente Field in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Quarterfinal game.
The Saints are back in the GNAC Semifinals for a fourth consecutive season, improving to 12-6 with the victory. The Pride has its season come to an end at 9-9.
After splitting the scoring to a 2-2 tie in the opening 5:32, the Saints surged ahead with six straight goals and never looked back. Senior

Avery Robillard started the run with goals scored 1:42 apart, helping Emmanuel to a 4-2 lead after one quarter.
The home side would go on to outscore Regis 4-0 in the second quarter, with Canedy scoring her third of the afternoon just 33 seconds into the frame. First-year

Madeline Wright each added a tally for the Saints, as they held an 8-2 edge at the half.
Regis bounced back to start the third quarter thanks to goals by first-year

Serenity Ayala, cutting the deficit to 8-4. But the Saints would answer back with four goals to close out the quarter, two each by Wright and senior
Dejaliyah Srimouksavanh, to give Emmanuel a 12-4 lead through three.
Wright gave the Saints their largest lead of the afternoon, scoring with 10:22 remaining in regulation, giving the Saints a 13-4 advantage. The Pride finished with three straight goals, including a pair for sophomore

Wright finished with a game-high five goals to go along with two draw controls. Canedy added a hat trick and one assist, while Srimouksavanh posted two goals and three assists. Sophomore
Maddie McCulloch was excellent defensively, leading the team with six ground balls to go with three caused turnovers. Goalie
Isabella Thomas made three saves in the win.
Mason finished with three goals and one assist for a team-high four points. Ayala added two goals, two caused turnovers, and two draw controls. Junior

Allayna Martone split the goalkeeping duties for Regis, combining for nine saves on the day.
The Saints roll into the semifinals on Wednesday, April 30, to face the No. 3 North Division seed, Saint Joseph's of Maine, at 7:00 p.m. on Clemente Field. The Monks are the only team to hand Emmanuel a conference loss this season, defeating them 16-8 on April 9. Saint Joseph's is also Emmanuel's only loss in the last 10 games.
