Women's Lacrosse Falls in NCAA First Round to Endicott on Rainy Saturday

WATERVILLE, Maine (May 10, 2025) – Leah Black tallied eight points on three goals and five assists as Endicott cruised past Emmanuel (Mass.), 20–3, in the first round of the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament at Bill Alfond Field.

The Gulls (16-4) overwhelmed the Saints with a relentless offensive attack, scoring eight unanswered goals to start the game and taking a 14–2 lead into halftime. Abbie Belleville and Jaira Paine each recorded hat tricks for Endicott, while Mia Samarjian, Grace McAfee Ava Amara and Stella Tessier added two goals apiece.

Endicott outshot Emmanuel 41–13 and won the ground ball battle 17–7. The Gulls' defense forced 17 turnovers and held the Saints to just seven shots on goal. Goalie Payton Quirk made four saves to earn the win.

Emmanuel (14-7) was led by Dejaliyah Srimouksavanh, who scored all three goals for the Saints, including an unassisted effort in each of the final three quarters.

Endicott advances to face the Colby College Mules in the second round tomorrow at 1:00pm right back on Bill Alfond Field.
