BOSTON - Emmanuel women's soccer boosted its unbeaten streak to nine matches on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Dean Bulldogs, 7-0, on Clemente Field in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play. The win moves the Saints to 6-3-3 (6-0-3 GNAC), while the Bulldogs drop to 3-10-2 (2-6-1 GNAC).

Emanuel was on the board just three minutes into the match as senior Ciara Horan headed home a corner kick from first-year Kylie Warner, giving the home side a 1-0 edge.

Later in the half, three goals in a five-minute span saw the saints lead increase to four. Sophomore Grace Foster scored in the 21st and 25th minutes, while junior Teigan Robie netted a goal from the penalty spot in the 26th minute, bumping the lead to 4-0.

Sophomore Kayla Silveira capped the scoring in the first half, netting her fourth of the year in the 42nd minute for a 5-0 lead at the break.

After the half, sophomore Carla Andreu Panighi and Horan connected on a pair of tallies just 50 seconds apart. Both goals by Andreu Panighi were officially scored in the 54th minute, as the Saints cruised to a 7-0 win on Saturday afternoon.

Foster and Andreu Panighi both scored a pair, upping their season total to six goals each. In total, the Saints attempted 27 shots, with 17 being on goal. Bulldogs keeper Danielle Reinhard finished with 10 stops in the Dean goal.
