Women’s Volleyball Continues Unbeaten Start in GNAC, Downs Dean 3-0

BOSTON, Mass. - On Senior Day, women's volleyball (15-2, 7-0) earned a dominant 3-0 sweep over Dean College (1-16) on Saturday morning at the Jean Yawkey Center, winning by set scores of 25-18, 25-8, and 25-14 to improve to 15-2 overall and 7-0 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play.

The Saints showcased a balanced performance on both sides of the net, recording 36 kills, 31 assists, 25 digs, and five total blocks while hitting .468 as a team. Letitia Bossou and first-year Delilah Davis led the attack with 10 kills apiece, while Scheala Nielsen, in her first action of the season, added seven kills and a match-high five service aces. Bossou and Danielle Burkett contributed three blocks each to help anchor the defense.

Emmanuel's serving game proved especially effective, as the Saints tallied 16 aces. Bella Parrotta recorded four, while Kason Huynh and Addy Fry each added three. Ava Olsen chipped in one ace to round out the team's total. Kennedy Horne paced the offense with 10 assists, followed by Fry with eight and Katie Dickerson with six, highlighting the Saints' strong distribution and well-rounded attack.

After taking the opening set, Emmanuel controlled the second, limiting Dean to just eight points before closing out the sweep with a 25-14 win in the third. It was a whole team effort on Saturday morning, with everyone getting in on some action to extend the Saints' winning streak to seven matches and keep them undefeated in GNAC competition.

Women's volleyball will return to the court for a non-conference tilt on Tuesday night, when they travel to Bridgewater State for a 6:00 PM first serve.
