Bossou Records Fourth GNAC Player of the Week Award

WINTHROP, Mass. - Women's volleyball junior captain Letitia Bossou was announced as winner of Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week award, as announced on Monday. This is Bossou's fourth time winning this award this season, as this comes after a 4-0 week for the Saints, including a key win over Lasell on Tuesday night.

The Rochester, Minnesota native continues to rack up the weekly honors, taking her fourth player of the week award on the season, as she leads the red-hot Saints towards the postseason. During the 4-0 span, Bossou tallied 49 kills and eight total blocks. This includes an 18 kill performance where she recorded a .484 attacking percentage against the #1 team in the conference heading into the match. The veteran right side continues to improve on her season numbers, now averaging a career-high 3.8 kills per set, and attacking at a .300 percentage.

Women's volleyball will return to the court on Wednesday night when they play host to NEC, with a 7:00 PM first serve. That is the precursor to the biggest game of the regular season for the Saints, a road matchup with Regis with the #1 seed on the line. That GNAC showdown will be the first contest of a tri-match for the Saints, with the first serve at 11:00 AM.
