NEW YORK - Emmanuel men's wrestling traveled to New York on Saturday for a pair of matches, starting the afternoon with a loss to Arcadia, 33-14, before finishing the day with a 36-11 victory against Hunter.
In the opening contest of the day, first-year
Zachary Brzoska earned a major decision victory at 133 pounds, while junior
Justin Hood and first-year
Luke Driscoll each scored pinfall wins, as the Saints collected 14 team points against Arcadia.
In the second round of matches for Emmanuel, the Saints rattled off consecutive victories at 149, 157, 165, 174, and 184, helping lead to the 36-11 victory against Hunter.
The Saints are back in action on Sunday with a trip to Coacst Guard for the NEWA Futures Tournament, starting at 11:00 a.m.
