DUDLEY, Mass. - Emmanuel College men's volleyball dropped a four-set road decision to Nichols College Wednesday evening, falling 3–1 (25–19, 25–19, 22–25, 25–20) at the Nichols Athletic Center. The loss moves Emmanuel College to 6–7 overall and 1–1 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play, while the Bison improved to 7–8 on the season.

The Saints battled throughout the match but were unable to overcome Nichols' efficient offensive attack, which hit .238 as a team. Emmanuel showed resilience after dropping the opening two sets. The Saints hit .350 as a group and rode the momentum of 18 kills to take the frame 25-22, forcing a fourth set. But Nichols regrouped and closed out the match in the fourth, with Emmanuel unable to sustain the energy from their set-three resurgence.

Individually, Trey Guest led Emmanuel offensively with a match-high 15 kills, while Cody Gibendi added eight kills and Collin Martin contributed five on a .300 clip. Nathan Sierra-Suan delivered an efficient outing with six kills on just 12 swings (.417) and added three assists, while Carlton Cummings chipped in four kills and a block assist.

The Saints' offense was guided by a shared setting effort, with Sam Chaucer posting 17 assists and Loden Broe adding 14. Defensively, libero Nick Sciabica anchored the back row with 14 digs, as Emmanuel totaled 51 digs as a team to remain competitive in extended rallies.

Nichols regained control in the fourth set behind a 17-kill performance and limited Emmanuel to a .125 hitting percentage, sealing the match with a 25–20 final. Adam Vincent was the story for Nichols, putting up 17 kills on a .371 clip to pace the Bisons' balanced attack.
