GREENWOOD, Ind. – Emmanuel senior Megan Reilly, junior Kaitlyn Bartash, and sophomore Lia Krumian have all been selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's Basketball Academic All-District Team, as announced by the CSC on March 24.
Nomination to the CSC Academic All-District Team requires a combination of academic and athletic achievements to be selected. Academically, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic standing and hold a 3.50 cumulative GPA. Athletically, those selected must start in 66 percent of their team's games or participate in 90 percent of a team's contests.
Reilly finishes her career as a three-time CSC Women's Basketball Academic All-District Team member, earning the honors in all three seasons of her eligibility. The Southbury, Conn. native finished this season with career-highs in scoring, assists, and steals. Reilly played in 27 games this season, earning a spot in the starting lineup in 26 games.
Bartash makes her second consecutive CSC Academic All-District Team after earning the honors in 2024-25 as a sophomore. The Saints center made 27 appearances, all starts in her junior season, and is closing in on becoming the second player since 1999 to record 200 career blocks.
Krumain scored her spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team in her first season of eligibility. Krumain was the only Saints player to start all 29 games this season, while averaging 8.5 points, 2.4 assists, and 2.2 rebounds per game. The second-year guard also led the team in minutes, averaging 27.3 minutes per game.
Unlike in past years, the nomination to the Academic All-District team does not necessarily move a student-athlete into consideration for the Academic All-American® ballot. A committee, comprised of Academic All-American® Core Members and members from the CSC will determine which athletes move to the All-American ballot.
Once the ballot is released, CSC members have until March 31 to vote for Academic All-Americans®. The CSC will announce the Academic All-American® First, Second, and Third Teams on Wednesday, April 15.
