BOSTON – Emmanuel women's lacrosse closed out the month of March with another dominant performance in conference play, claiming an 18-1 victory over the Albertus Magnus Falcons in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Tuesday night at Clemente Field. The win moves the Saints to 7-4 (6-1 GNAC), while the Falcons fall to 4-6 (1-6 GNAC).
Emmanuel opened the game with five unanswered goals in the opening 4:17, all scored by five different players. The scoring run continued throughout the opening 15 minutes, as the Saints posted a nine-goal first quarter.
The scoring surge continued into the second quarter as seniors
Ella Marschitz and
Avery Robillard, as well as sophomore
Ella Stein, all found the back of the net, as the Saints led 12-0 at halftime.
Emmanuel led 15-0 before the Falcons broke up the shutout in the fourth quarter, with Julianna Montano taking a pass from behind the goal by Sage Sonsini, to score the only tally of the night for the Falcons with 7:46 to go. The home side added three more goals in the final minutes, on the way to their 18-1 victory.

Madeline Wright had a five-point night with two goals and three assists. First-year
Delaney Johnston matched her career-high with three goals. Junior
Hannah Hoenshell and sophomore
Rylie Hogan added two goals each.
Emmanuel plays the middle game of a three-game homestand on Saturday, April 4, hosting Colby-Sawyer at 12:00 p.m. on Clemente Field.
