HINGHAM, Mass. - Men's Golf posted a 3rd place finish in the 2026 edition of the Saints Invitational, just narrowly getting bested by Lesley for the runner-up spot. The Saints totaled a 348 on the scorecard, while Rhode Island College took the 1st place spot with a 328.
 
Senior Ryan Brunet was the individual winner with an impressive 80 on the day on a notoriously difficult course. Sophomore Jack Ouellete was right behind him, posting a 9-over score of 81. Ouellete finished with the best nine-hole output of the day for Emmanuel, scoring a 39, including back to back birdies on 8 and 9.
 
First year William Provost made his first collegiate appearance, coming in third for the Saints out of the four hole, posting a 93. Provost started the day with a 45 on the front that included three pars.
 
First years Aiden Boyce and Ryan Piscatelli finished with a 95 and 94 respectively on the day. After a rough front nine, Boyce recovered to shoot a 44 on the back, featuring four pars.
 
The consistency of the Lesley university golfers pushed them into the runner-up spot on the day, with all five of them scoring between an 85-89. Rhode Island College took the crown on the day with all of their golfers shooting in the 80's as well. Mike Decesare and Brady Pongvongkeo paced the Anchorman, posting 81's, with Decesare shooting the most impressive nine-hole round of the day with a 38 on the back nine.
 
Emmanuel will return to the links next Wednesday when they travel to New Haven, Connecticut for the Albertus Magnus Invitational.
