Welcome to registration for the 2nd Annual Emmanuel College Athletics Golf Tournament, Presented by Bon Appétit! Returning to Sandy Burr Country Club on May 30, 2025, your support in the Inaugural Emmanuel College Golf Tournament has already had an immeasurable impact on our community of student-athletes. Your generous contributions go directly to our athletic programs, assisting all 18 NCAA Division III teams in providing an experience for our Saints student-athletes that would otherwise be near impossible!

Sandy Burr Country Club is located in the suburbs of Boston, 15 miles outside of the city. Designed in 1922 by the legendary architect Donald Ross, Sandy Burr Country Club features many elements of a traditional Ross-style course, and plays to a par 72 at just over 6,400 yards. Sandy Burr CC has challenged professionals and amateurs for over a century with its unique design and challenging green complexes.

1. What rules are used for a traditional scramble?
A: In a traditional scramble, all players on a team will tee off from their respective tee boxes. The group then selects the best tee shot to play their next shots from. All four players will play from that selected spot. After those shots have been played, the team will again select the best of the shots to play from. This process continues until the ball is holed. There are no requirements for how many times a player's ball has to be used.
2. Do I need a USGA GHIN and/or Handicap Index to play?
A: No, neither the USGA nor the Handicap Index is required to play. Our Emmanuel College Golf Tournament is a day of fun at Sandy Burr, even the most casual of golfers can join us on Friday, May 30.
3. How skilled do I need to be to participate?
A: The Emmanuel College Golf Tournament is open to golfers of all skill levels. As long as you are looking for a day full of competition, fun, and reconnecting with friends, this tournament is for you!
4. The Emmanuel College Golf Tournament lines up with Alumni Weekend at the institution, will there be transportation provided between Emmanuel's campus and Sandy Burr Country Club if I'm participating in Alumni Weekend activities?
A: Yes! For those who are participating in alumni weekend at Emmanuel College, transportation will be offered from campus to Sandy Burr and back on the day of the event. Specific times for those using this method of transportation will be announced soon!
5. What are some of the contests that will be held on the day of the event?
A: A men's and women's long drive hole will be used at Sandy Burr. In addition, a closest to the pin competition will be held on select par 3's on the course. The putting green will feature a 50/50 putt competition during the rounds. Prizes for these contests include cash prizes, gift cards to Sandy Burr, among other numerous gifts.
