Biography

AS A SOPHOMORE...Poirot raced in five of the Saints' six meets during the 2011 Cross Country season...ran his best 8k time of the year (31:30) on October 14th at the Saints Invitational at Franklin Park...named GNAC Academic All-Conference.

AS A FRESHMAN... Raced in five meets during rookie season for the Saints ... Made collegiate debut on September 4 at The Fens Dual Meet, posting a personal best for a 5K race clocking in at 21:16 for a 19th place finish ... Recorded another personal best on September 11 in an 8K event at the Travis Fuller Invitational, finishing the race in 50th place with a time of 31:34 ... On October 30, posted a solid showing in the GNAC Championship with a time of 32:17, good for a 38th place finish.

BEFORE EMMANUEL...Poirot was a three-sport athlete at Hoosac Valley High School (Cheshire, Mass.)...ran Cross Country and Track for four years and skiied for three years.
