• Named a team co-captain.

• Byrne missed the entire 2016 season due to a broken wrist injury

AS A FRESHMAN...

• Was the only member of the 2016 squad to appear in all eight matches during his first season of collegiate golf
• Made collegiate debut on Sept. 9 at Shennecossett Golf Course in Groton, Conn., shooting a season-low round of 80
• Posted five consecutive rounds in the 80’s during match play from September 27 through October 12
• Competed in the GNAC Championship, firing a two-day total of 179 to help the Saints place sixth overall for their best finish in the conference in the program’s history

• Byrne was a four-year varsity starter on the Rogers High School golf team
