AS A SENIOR...

• Played in and started all 22 contests on defense during the Saints 2023 GNAC Championship campaign. 
• Named to the GNAC All-Conference Second Team as a defender while also earning a spot on the GNAC All-Tournament Team.
• Helped the squad post a 6.01 goals against average in GNAC action, a league-best.
• Registered career-highs in groundballs (26) and caused turnovers (20) during finale season at EC, picking up at least one groundball in 17 games. 
• Caused a career-high four turnovers on March 25, 2023 in Emmanuel's 17-14 GNAC win over Saint Joseph's College (ME). 
• Notched five groundballs over the two NCAA tournament contests including a season-high three GB's vs. No. 1 Tufts University on May 10, 2023.
• Named to the NEILA All-Academic Team.

AS A JUNIOR...

• Played in 14 games for the Saints, making 12 starts for the Saints in 2022; both career-bests for EC.
• Finished the season with 14 ground balls and four caused turnovers.
• Recorded at least one ground ball in 10 of 14 appearances, including a career-high four ground balls on April 30, 2022, in the GNAC Quarterfinals at Rivier.

AS A SOPHOMORE...

• Appeared in all 10 Saints games in 2021, earning nine starts as a sophomore.
• Finished the season with six ground balls and five caused turnovers, both single-season career-bests.

AS A FIRST-YEAR...

• Played in all four contests, earning three starts during the 2020 campaign before the season was cancelled due to the CoVID19 pandemic.
• Made collegiate debut earning a start on February 29 vs. Wentworth, picking up one groundball in the outing.
• Posted a season-high two caused turnovers on March 11 vs. Piedmont.

BEFORE EMMANUEL...

• Colwell was a three-sport varsity athlete at Needham HS, playing lacrosse, football and wrestling
• Earned three varsity letters playing lacrosse at NHS
• Named the team Rookie of the Year as a junior during his first season of varsity lacrosse
• Also earned four varsity letters playing football for Needham, earning Defensive MVP honors
• Holds the school record for sacks by an interior lineman
