Coach Cowham joined the Emmanuel staff in the spring of 2021 as a Goalkeeper Coach.

Cowham earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from MIT, graduating in May '20 where he was a standout on the soccer field for the Engineers. In addition to soccer, Cowham was involved in other co-cirricular activities on the MIT campus serving as the Vice President for the Roadkill Buffet Improv Comedy Troupe while also participating in MIT's Minority Business Association as the Pillar Head for Global Development.

The Quincy, Mass. native graduated among the career leaders in several statistical categories at MIT, ranking tied for first all-time in goals against average (0.94 GAA) while owning the lowest single-season GAA at 0.37 in 2018 when he allowed just five goals over 1,224 minutes in net to also lead the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) that season. His 17 career shutouts ranks tied for second and over his career he recorded an .814 save percentage with 228 saves to rank seventh in save percentage and 10th in total saves in MIT annals. 

Cowham earned NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honors in 2017 and 2018 as well as First Team All-Conference honors in 2018 and Second team accolades in 2019.

After earning his undergraduate degree, Cowham started working for iRobot Corporation as a Software Engineer and also serves as a Goalkeeping Coach for the FC Boston Bolts soccer club.
