• Named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference All-Academic Team while also receiving the 2013 Men’s Soccer Academic Achievement Award

• Recruited to play for the Saints but decided to concentrate on academics during freshman year, not playing soccer

• Played three years of varsity soccer at Lexington High School
• Was named captain of the soccer team as a senior
