AS A JUNIOR

• McGarry played in 67 sets over the course of 21 matches.
• Recorded 78 kills on 183 total attacks (.230)
• Also tallied 47 total blocks and 24 digs.
• Recorded a season-high nine kills in a 3-2 loss at Johnson & Wales on March 26.
• Had eight total blocks in a 3-2 loss to Rivier University on March 28.

AS A SOPHOMORE

• Started in his middle hitter position with appearances in 29 of the Saints' 30 matches, including action in 97 total sets
• Ranked 4th on the squad in kills, finishing the year with a total of 134 kills
• Averaged 1.38 kills per set
• Led the EC hitters in hitting percentage swinging at a clip of .323 on the year
• Led the Saints and ranked 3rd among the GNAC leaders in blocks, averaging 1.04 per set
• Tallied 23 solo blocks and 78 assisted blocks to combine for 101 total blocks in 2014
• Was named the GNAC Defensive Player of the Week on 3/31/14
• Hit in double-figures three times on the year, with his career-high of 11 kills coming on February 26, 2014 in a 3-1 win over Albertus Magnus College
• Recorded his career-high of 11 blocks (2 solo, 9 assisted) on March 20, 2014 in a 3-2 win over Wentworth
• Earned GNAC Acacdemic All-Conference honors
• Finished the season ranked 17th nationally in blocks per set
• Helped lead the Saints to a 2nd place finish in the conference and to a return trip to the GNAC Finals.  

AS A FRESHMAN

• Opened the season as a starting middle hitter for the Saints
• Played in Emmanuel's first 11 matches, before being sidelined with an injury
• Recorded his season-high of 8 kills with a .462 hitting percentage in the Saints' February 2nd win over Southern Vermont
• Finished his rookie campaign averaging 1.24 kills and a team-best 0.79 blocks per set
• Tallied 42 kills, 27 blocks (1 solo and 26 assisted) and 7 digs
• Helped the team to a second place finish in the conference and an appearance in the GNAC Finals.

BEFORE EMMANUEL

• McGarry was a four-year member and three-year starter on the Mount Carmel High School boys varsity volleyball team
• Named a three-time All-Conference player in the Chicago Catholic League for MCHS.
