AS A SENIOR...

• Closed out EC career with 25 contests and 82 total sets.
• Enjoyed the best statistical season of his collegiate tenure with 148 kills, 49 blocks and 34 digs.
• Led the team with a .379 attacking percentage to rank second in the GNAC and fourth all-time at Emmanuel for single-season attacking marks.
• Posted a season-high 16 kills in GNAC play on March 2, 2023 vs. Emerson, hitting .517 on the afternoon.
• Recorded 18 matches with five or more kills and posted at least one block in 24 of 25 contests.
• Tied a career-high of seven block assists on Jan. 27, 2023 vs. Misericordia.
• Named the 2023 Emmanuel Men's Volleyball Unsung Hero by the coaching staff.
• Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team for the third straight campaign. 

AS A JUNIOR...

• Appeared in 25 matches, playing 73 sets for the Saints in the 2022 campaign.
• Finished the season with 130 kills while hitting .272, 31 block assists, 37 total blocks, and 25 service aces. The 130 kills and 37 total blocks were second-most on the Saints while the 31 block assists led the team. McDonald's .272 attack percentage ranked seventh in the GNAC among qualified players.
• Recorded a career-high 18 kills on Jan. 19, 2022, coming in a 3-1 victory at Eastern Nazarene.
• Had a career-high seven block assists and total blocks on Jan. 19, 2022, in the win against Eastern Nazarene.
• Registered at least one block in 19 of his 25 matches as a middle blocker.
• Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team.

AS A SOPHOMORE...

• The 2021 season was cancelled due to the COVID19 pandemic forcing the ECMVB team to not compete in any games
• Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team

AS A FIRST YEAR...

• Appeared in 15 matches during first season with the Saints, earning 11 starts before the 2020 campaign was cut short due to the COVID19 pandemic
• Made collegiate debut on January 24 in a 3-2 victory over Eastern Nazarene, collecting three kills, two digs and one ace in the win
• Registered a season-high nine kills vs. Dean on February 8 in a 3-0 victory, also hitting .571 in the action
• Posted back-to-back five block outings (season-high) vs. Rivier and Eastern Nazarene on February 13 and February 15
• Closed the season on a high note, collecting seven kills while hitting .600 from the floor in a 3-0 victory over Lesley University on March 5
• Ended the year with 44 kills, 24 total blocks, 14 digs and six aces

BEFORE EMMANUEL

• McDonald was a two-year starter on his varsity Volleyball Team at Hauppauge High School (Hauppauge, NY)
• He led HHS to the Suffolk County Championship as well as a Long Island finalist during his junior season
• McDonald was tabbed to the All-County tournament team and was honored as an All-Division player while at HHS
