Biography

AS A JUNIOR...

  • Played in 42 of 43 games for the Saints, enjoying another strong season at the plate by hitting .343 with 25 RBI and 13 extra base hits.
  • Tallied 36 hits on the season including her 100th career hit to go along with 22 runs scored and a team-high 21 walks which also led the GNAC.
  • Led the Saints while ranking 11th in the GNAC with a .485 on-base percentage.
  • Named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on April 2.
  • Hit home runs in back-to-back GNAC playoff victories over USJ and Simmons to help the Saints stay in the winners bracket.
  • Earned the 2018 EC Softball Academic Achievement Award for the highest GPA on the team.
  • Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team.

AS A SOPHOMORE...

  • Skey appeared in 34 out of 35 games for the Saints getting on base at least once in 28 of those contests.
  • On March 5, in the season opener against Coast Guard, Skey hit her first of, a team high, eight homers.  The eight homer runs ranked fifth in the GNAC.
  • Earned GNAC player of the week honors on March 13, for her efforts during the Saints Gulf Coast swing to start the season.
  • Skey hit two round trippers in a victory over GNAC rival Lasell on April 15.
  • On the year Skey batted in 35 runs, recorded 31 hits, scored 19 runs, walked a team high 17 times while maintaining a .320 batting average, a .455 on base percentage and a .560 slugging percentage.
  • On May 8, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced that Skey earned All-Conference Third-Team honors.
  • Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team.

AS A FRESHMAN...

  • Enjoyed a standout rookie season that led to her being named to the GNAC All-Conference third team.
  • Skey was honored on two other occassions by the GNAC, once as Rookie of the Week on 3/28/16 and again for making the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on 4/18/16.
  • She appeared in all 43 games for the Saints and led the team with a .355 batting average.
  • Hit six HR, 28 RBI and scored 11 times for the Saints in her rookie campaign.
  • The freshman recorded her first career two HR game on 4/17/16 in the second leg of a doubleheader vs. Anna Maria.

BEFORE EMMANUEL...

  • Was a four-year starter on the varsity team at Hollis-Brookline High School (Hollis, N.H.)
  • Was the MVP in field hockey and softball as a junior and a senior
  • Played for America's Team in Spain & Italy
  • Played select softball for the Nor'Easters, Worcester Hawks, New Hampshire Lightning, and EMass Panthers
  • Named first team softball All-State in 2015, second team All-State in 2014, and second team field hockey All-State in 2015.
