Emmanuel College (Ma.)

Ellie Stevens joined the Emmanuel College softball staff for the 2023-24 year as an assistant coach.

Stevens followed a stellar playing career at Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a three-year coaching stint alongside current Saints head coach Brenna Morissey. As assistant coach, Stevens helped lead MIT to a final ranking of 7th by the NFCA in 2018 and was a member of the 2018 NFCA New England Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

As a student-athlete, Stevens finished her career at MIT with 463.1 IP and a 2.24 ERA. In her senior season, she threw 138.1 innings and posted a career best 1.27 ERA while having a .267 batting average at the plate. She was named NEWMAC Pitcher of the Year and NEWMAC 1st Team All-Conference. Stevens was a team captain for two seasons.

Stevens graduated from MIT in 2015 with a Bachelor's in Materials Science and Engineering. She earned a Master of Business Administration degree in 2019 from Quantic School of Business and Technology. Stevens is currently an Manager in the Engineering Development Group at MathWorks.
