Emmanuel College (Ma.)

Coach Berardi joined the Saints Softball staff in the summer of2013 for her first season as an Assistant Coach at the collegiatelevel.  Prior to coming to Emmanuel, Berardi spent three yearsas an Assistant Coach for the varsity softball team at FontbonneAcademy in Milton, Mass.  Before moving into the varsityassistant coaching position, she was the Head Coach for theFontbonne junior varsity team for two seasons.  Berardihas also coached the South Shore Stealers 18U and 23U programs outof Braintree, Mass. for the past five years.

Berardi played her collegiate ball at Curry College, where shegraduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in CriminalJustice.  She was standout on the field forCurry, captaining her team as a seniorand being selected All-Commonwealth Coach Conference asboth a junior and a senior.  Her team honors include beingnamed Rookie of the Year in 2002, Unsung Hero in 2003, MostImproved Player in 2004 and receiving the Golden GloveAward in 2005.  Berardi graduated from Curry with the programrecord for most innings played in a collegiate career.
