BEFORE EMMANUEL...Marcello was a three-sport athlete at Hopedale Junior Senior High School (Hopedale, Mass.)...played four years of soccer, four years of softball and three years of basketball...started all four years on her varsity softball team...suffered a broken hand as a senior, but was able to return to the line-up following surgery and led her team to several keys victories and into the play-offs.
