Howard started in 32 of her 35 games played as the 3rd baseman for the Saints ... totaled 17 hits, including 4 doubles and a homerun, in 76 at-bats for a .224 batting average ... recorded 7 RBI ... notched 15 put-outs and 54 assists in the field for the Saints ... was named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team ... voted Emmanuel's Most Improved Player in 2012.
AS A FRESHMAN ... Howard enjoyed a solid rookie campaign, playing in 31 contests and getting the starting nod in 30 of them ... posted a .274 average, collecting 20 hits while scoring 13 runs and posting 10 RBI ... recorded a .342 slugging percentage while also posting a .361 on-base percentage ... drew a team-high 10 walks on the year and was a perfect 2-2 in stolen base attempts ... recorded five multi-hit games on the season including a 2-4 outing vs. Wesley College on 3/8 in which she also knocked in a season-best three RBI to go along with two runs scored in a 19-5 win.
BEFORE EMMANUEL ... Howard was a four-year player at Belmont High School in New Hampshire, playing for the junior varsity as a freshman and sophomore and varsity as a junior and senior ... received the Coach's Award after her sophomore and senior years ... was selected to the New Hampshire Senior games and received All-State Honors.
