Biography

AS A SENIOR...

  • Played in and started all 10 games with the Saints before the 2020 campaign was cut short due to the CoVID19 epidemic
  • Served as a team captain 
  • Went 1-for-2 to open the season, driving in the game-winning run in EC's 6-4 win over Lesley University on March 8
  • Closed the campaign on March 13 going 1-for-3 in a 2-0 victory over North Park, scoring the game-winning run
  • Finished the shortened campaign with four hits, four walks, three runs and one RBI
  • Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team for third straight campaign

AS A JUNIOR...

  • Enjoyed a breakout junior season, exploding for a .324 batting average over 39 games while slugging a career-best .448 for EC.
  • Named to the GNAC All-Conference Third Team for the Outfield position.
  • Collected seven multi-hit games on the year and put together a 12-game hitting streak from April 3 through April 18, batting .424 (14-for-33) during the streak.
  • Had four games with three RBI, all coming in Emmanuel wins over GNAC opponents.
  • Ranked fourth in the GNAC in stolen bases with 16 thefts on the year.
  • Collected three triples on the year to rank ties for sixth in the GNAC.
  • Finished the season with 25 RBI, 18 runs scored and eight walks.
  • Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team as well as the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
  • Selected as the 2018 EC Softball Unsung Hero by the Saints coaching staff.

AS A SOPHOMORE...

  • Played in all 43 games for the Saints during second collegiate season.
  • Batted .252 on the year, improving her average 38 points from rookie campaign.
  • Doubled hit production as a sophomore, collecting 32 hits on the year including eight extra base hits on four doubles and four home runs.
  • Scored 32 runs on to rank second on the team and tied for 11th in the GNAC.
  • Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team as well as the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
  • Selected as the 2018 EC Softball Unsung Hero by the Saints coaching staff.

AS A FRESHMAN...

  • Appeared in 34 out of 35 games for the Saints in her rookie campaign.
  • Hoisl made her collegiate debut in a 15-14 extra innings victory over Coast Guard Academy in the season opener.
  • On March 6, in a non-conference competition against Saint Benedict Hoisl hammered her first career homer run which also happened to be the first hit of her career.
  • Hoisl recorded 15 hits, scored 11 runs and batted in seven runners while maintaining a .314 slugging percentage.
  • In the field, the outfielder put out 40 runners and kept a .955 fielding percentage.

BEFORE EMMANUEL...

  • Hoisl played four years of varsity softball, basketball, and soccer at Conard High School (West Hartford, Conn.)
  • Was a softball captain as a junior at CHS.
  • Was a member of the All-Academic team for all three sports through all four years of high school
