Biography

AS A SENIOR...

  • Played in and started six games with the Saints before the 2020 campaign was cut short due to the CoVID19 epidemic
  • Was off to one of the hottest starts in school history, batting .579 through six games (11-for-19) with 10 RBI, five extra base hits and a 1.053 slugging percentage
  • Hit safely in all six games played, starting the season with three consecutive multi-hit games after only four days off from the end of her All-American basketball campaign
  • Opened the year with a 2-for-3 performance with a double and three RBI in a 7-1 win over Dominican (Ill.) on March 11
  • Later that day, went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored vs. Mount Union
  • Put together an impressive 4-for-4 outing vs. Monmouth (Ill.), driving in five runs with a pair of triples in the Saints' 8-4 victory on March 12
  • Closed the year with a .600 on-base percentage, adding two steals and two runs scored
  • Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team
  • Became the first player in program history to earn CoSIDA Academic All-American honors, earning Third Team Academic All-American accolades as well as first team CoSIDA Academic All-District honors

AS A JUNIOR...

  • Following an amazing basketball season, picked right up on the Softball field en route to being named the 2019 GNAC Softball Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference selection as an Outfielder as well as an NFCA All-Region New England Third Team selection
  • Set the Emmanuel single-season record for home runs with 10, leading the GNAC while ranking tied for 32nd in the nation while also besting the EC single-season slugging percentage record with a mark of .814 to again top the GNAC and rank 26th nationally
  • Drove in 33 RBI to rank third in the GNAC, collected 20 extra base hits to rank third in the GNAC and scored 33 runs to rank fifth in the GNAC
  • Collected 10 multi-hit games on the year and hit safely in 23 of 27 games in which she had at least three at-bats
  • Named the GNAC Player of the Week on April 29 after closing out the regular-season with a monster frame, batting .611 (11-for-18) with 14 RBIs and 11 runs scored which also landed her on the NFCA D-III Weekly Honor Roll on May 1. The week was highlighted by a two-home run, six RBI game vs. Johnson & Wales University on April 27 in a 12-10 victory for Emmanuel
  • Finished the season with 79 total bases, 52 of which came in GNAC play to lead the conference
  • Selected as a CoSIDA Academic All-District Team Northeast Region recipient
  • Also named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team

AS A SOPHOMORE...

  • Appeared in 35 games during first season with the Saints, batting .368 on the year with a .750 slugging percentage to rank third in the GNAC
  • Finished the season with 28 hits including seven home runs to rank tied for fourth in the GNAC
  • Drove in 25 RBI to rank in the top 20 in the league and rank first in the GNAC in home runs per plate appearance, averaging a blast every 10.9 trips to the plate
  • Hit safely in 22 of 26 games in which she had multiple at bats including five of six GNAC playoff games
  • Finished the season with 24 runs scored and 13 stolen bases
  • Named to the GNAC All-Conference Third Team as an Outfielder
  • Also named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team

BEFORE EMMANUEL...

  • Ramirez was a three sport All-Scholastic athlete for volleyball, basketball & softball
  • Three-year starter & two-year captain for basketball
  • Began her collegiate basketball career at Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne
