AS A SOPHOMORE ... Altwies started in all 13 of her games played for the Saints in 2013 ... Scored 21 goals and dished out 5 assists for 26 total points ... Went 8 for 12 on free position shots ... Recorded 22 groundballs and caused 11 turnovers on defense ... Took 49 total shots with 41 of them coming on-goal for an 83.7 shots-on-goal percentage ... Tallied six multi-goal games as a sophomore, including netting a season-high 4 goals to lead the Saints to a 13-7 win at Norwich on 4/3/13 ... Helped lead the Saints to aprogram-record 9-5 season ... Will captain the 2014 Emmanuel squad as a junior.
AS A FRESHMAN ... Altwies started in all 14 of her games played ... Was Emmanuel's 3rd leading scorer with a total of 38 points, coming off of 31 goals and 7 assists ... Connected on 3 of 5 free position goals ... Tallied 31 groundballs and caused 7 turnovers during her rookie season ... was named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on March 19, 2012.
BEFORE EMMANUEL ... Altwies was a three-sport athlete at Southington High School (Southington, Conn.) ... Played four years of varsity soccer and lacrosse and two years of indoor track ... Started on her lacrosse team as a junior and a senior ... Captained the team as a senior ... Named All-Conference two years ... Was part of the school's record-setting 4x200m relay team.
