AS A FRESHMAN … Basile saw action in 16 of the Saints’ 20 contests in 2011 … Made collegiate debut on Sept. 3 vs. Husson University … Scored one goal on the year coming in a 6-0 victory over Maine Maritime on Sept. 4 … Took six total shots with four coming on goal … Received Emmanuel’s Most Improved Player Award at the 2012 Athletic Awards Night … Was also a standout on the Saints Women’s Lacrosse Team, scoring 28 goals and dishing out five assists as a rookie.
BEFORE EMMANUEL...Basile was a three-sport athlete at Conard High School in West Hartford, Connecticut playing soccer, basketball and lacrosse ... Named to the Girls Soccer All-Academic Team during sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
