Benjamin Okaroh joined the women's soccer staff in the summer of 2021 as an assistant coach for the Saints. Okaroh comes to Emmanuel with nearly 10 years of coaching experience, most recently with FC Blazers. He also has an impressive playing career in the 1980s and early-1990s for Boston University and Nigeria.

For the last decade, Okaroh has been a senior coach for boys and girls teams at FC Blazers in Boston. He also spent two seasons in 2019 and 2020 as a technical advisor for Nnewi United in the Nigerian Professional Soccer League. Okaroh also has coaching stints with high school aged players, having coached at the Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School and the Francis W. Parker Essential School.

As a player, Okaroh was one of the most accomplished players at Boston University in the history of the program. From 1984-1988, Okaroh was named a two-time All-American and was the Terriers team MVP in three straight seasons. He made 79 starts for the Terriers in his career, which includes a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances for BU. In 1986, Okaroh was a finalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy, which is awarded annually to the NCAA's best male and female soccer player.

After his graduation from BU in 1988, Okaroh played four seasons in Belgium's Second Division for Menen FC. He would go on to captain the Nigerian First World Beach Soccer Championship Team in 1998.

Okaroh has a Bachelor's Degree from Boston University in Economics. He later graduated from Stanton University in 2010, earning a degree as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
