The Emmanuel Men's Basketball Team picked up their
third-straight win of the season on Saturday afternoon, when the
Saints downed Suffolk University, 68-55, in home GNAC action.
Emmanuel improved to 3-4 overall and 2-0 in the conference, while
Suffolk fell to 1-8 on the season.
Junior guard Rob
Williams-Hinton (Oak Park, MI) led all scorers with 19 points,
on 8 for 13 shooting. Junior forward Mack Spellman
(Clinton, NY) posted a double-double with 14 points and a game-high
13 rebounds. Senior center Levi Smith (Tulsa, OK)
played a solid game for the Saints. Smith hit 7 of 9 attempts from
the floor, scoring 14 points, while pulling down 8 rebounds and
blocking 5 shots in just 18 minutes of play. Rookie point guard J.P. Ventura
(Riva, MD) dished out a team-high 4 assists for the Saints.
Emmanuel is back in action on Thursday night (12/13), when the
Saints travel to Beverly, MA to take on the Gulls of Endicott
College. This game is scheduled to tip off at 7pm.
