THE LEAD – The Saints improve to 10-6 on Tuesday night following a pair of straight-set victories over the Lesley Lynx. Emmanuel improves to the double-digit win total thanks to wins in six of their last seven matches.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the opening match, the Saints hit .457 from the floor, as a team, including 26 team kills with just five attack errors. Emmanuel allowed just 14 total points to the Lynx in the straight-sets sweep.
- EC combined for 20 aces in the first match, eclipsing the 20-ace mark for the first time since Jan. 22, 2011, when the Saints recorded 20 aces in a win over Elms College.
- In the second match, the Saints bettered their first match outputs, hitting a season-high .500 from the floor, including 27 kills on 46 attempts with a season-low four errors. ECs third set was the best of the season, hitting at a .750 percentage (10-1-12).
- Junior Daniel Keyes (Fall River, Mass.) made his impact in the second match, becoming one of only eight players in program history to have at least eight service aces in a match.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Saints first-year Leonard Kim (Los Angeles, Calif.) had 17 kills between the two matches, including a career-high 11 kills in the opening match.
- Junior Patrick Mannion (New Boston, N.H.) combined for 13 kills and added 14 total services aces; seven in each of the two matches.
- First-year setter Jacob Aronov (Natick, Mass.) had 20 assists in each match for the Saints.
- Along with his eight aces, Keyes added five kills and an attack percentage of .714 in the second match.
- Lynx junior Marco Powells (St. Louis, Mo.) had a team-high three kills between the two matches.

- The Saints return to Yosinoff Court for the first time in over a month on March 14, welcoming Concordia University of Wisconsin for a 7:00 p.m. match.
