BOSTON – For the first time in two seasons, Emmanuel women's soccer posted 10 goals on the way to a 10-0 victory over the Fisher Falcons on Wednesday night at Clemente Field. Nearly two years to the day was the last time the Saints scored 10 goals, coming in a 10-0 win at MCLA on Sept. 3, 2022.
The Saints move to 2-0-0 on the season and have 15 goals in their first two matches to start the season. Fisher takes the loss in their first game of the year, falling to 0-1-0.
Nine different Saints contributed to the 10-goal night, as junior
Sarah Dullaghan started the scoring in the third minute, giving Emmanuel a 1-0 edge.
A lull in the offense lasted 20 minutes before the Saints scored a pair in the 23
rd minute, first by junior
Eva Simmons, for a 2-0 lead, and then a penalty kick goal just 15 seconds later by junior
Annabel Balogh de Galantha, gave Emmanuel a 3-0 advantage. Simmons' goal marked the first of her career.
Sophomore
Liz McCormick scored her second of the season in the 29
th minute while junior
Alexandra Gencarelli finished off the scoring in the first half, giving the Saints a 5-0 lead after scoring in the 40
th minute, directly off a corner kick, for her first career collegiate goal.
First-year
Reese Cromwell joined the first-time goal-scorers club in the 47
th minute, followed by another first-career goal scorer in sophomore
Maddie McCulloch in the 64
th minute, helping the Saints to a 7-0 lead.

Hailey Goodman finished off the scoring over the last 20 minutes, giving Emmanuel the 10-goal margin of victory.

Gaby Baker started the opening 33 minutes in the Saints net, earning the victory to improve to 2-0-0 this year. First-years
Teigan Robie and
Emily Cordano split the remaining time in net in their first career collegiate appearances.
The Saints jump into Great Northeast Athletic Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 7, as they welcome Colby-Sawyer to Clemente Field for a 12:00 p.m. kickoff.
