BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College men's soccer shut out Lasell University, 5-0, en route to its first home win of the 2025 season. Five different Saints players scored in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference victory on Tuesday night at Roberto Clemente Field.

The Saints (4-2-6, 2-2-3 GNAC) dominated from the opening kickoff, notching two goals in the first six minutes. In the fourth minute of action, freshman Lucas Silvia slid the ball past the keeper on a cross from Rafael Matamoros for his first career collegiate goal. Two minutes later, sophomore Samuel Cote scored his first career goal. Just before halftime, at the 42:29 mark, Joe Anderson sent a corner kick off the foot of first-year Connor Morgenthal and into the goal to give the Saints a 3-0 edge and mark Morgenthal's first career goal.

In the 53rd minute, Benjamin Anderson found the back of the net on a beautiful through ball from Lucas Silvia. The final goal of the night came at the 85:32 minute mark when senior captain, Gabriel Eduarte sent a corner kick off the head of Jordan Bragoli and into the back of the net to secure a 5-0 win for the Emmanuel.

Lasell (3-7-2, 1-4-2 GNAC) struggled to posses the ball or get shot attempts, with only three shots on goal compared to the Saints 11. Freshman Goalie, Owen Silva, recorded three saves and earns the win in the net.

The Saints end their home stand with a win before heading into a three game conference road slate that kicks off when they face Albertus Magnus College in New Haven on Saturday, October 11.
