| Box Score 2 ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Emmanuel women's volleyball sweep in straight sets twice in a Saturday afternoon double header over SUNY Polytechnic Institute and Bard College at Bard College. The Saints defeated the Wildcats (25-14, 25-13, 25-17) before defeating the Raptors (25-12, 25-10, 25-11).
MATCH ONE: Emmanuel 3 – SUNY Poly 0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-17)
SUNY Poly opened the match with an quick two points in the first set, but Emmanuel responded with dominance. The Saints had 16 kills and a .343 hitting percentage in Set 1. In the second set, Emmanuel took the lead 3-2 on a service ace by Frances Ramos Rodriguez and did not trail again in the set, besting the WIldcats 25-13. SUNY Poly made a late run in the third set, but the Saints held them off 25-17. 
Sophomore Amber Hong finished with a team-high and double-double with 11 kills and 13 digs, hitting .296 from the floor. Senior Isabella Marquez added 8 kills, while first-year Addy Fry led the team in assists with 21. 
For the Wildcats, the team hit -.020 percent, Daniella Aluisio had a match-high 6 kills to go along with 7 digs. Abby Newell added 5 kills and 2 digs, and Grace Southwick had 9 assists. 
MATCH TWO: Emmanuel 3 – Bard College 0 (25-12, 25-10, 25-11)
The Saints swept in straight sets for the fifth time this season in their second match of the afternoon, defeating Bard College 3-0 (25-12, 25-10, 25-11). The Saints coasted to the finish comfortably with 43 kills to the Raptors' 16. The Saints boasted a hitting percentage of .425 to Bard's -0.052, and were led by Hong's 6 kills and 3 aces. Kason Huynh and Fry had 19 and 13 assists, respectively, with Marquez adding 8 kills and 6 digs to the Saints dominant performance. 
COMING UP
The Saints head to Fitchburg, Mass. to face Fitchburg State on Wednesday, September 17 at 6:00p.m. before returning home to host Albertus Magnus in its first GNAC match of the season next Saturday, September 20.
