Rafael Matamoros received a great pass from junior captain
Jacob Beck and shot the ball across the box into the far side of the net, putting the Saints ahead 1-0.
Later in the first half, in the 37
th minute, the Blazers answered. After putting consistent pressure on the Saints defense, the Blazers broke through, shooting multiple chances at senior goalkeeper
Isaiah Etienne, who made back-to-back saves. However, Elms' Jamai Dixon took the rebound and shot it passed Etienne to even the score 1-1.

th minute where the Saints reclaimed the lead. Matamoros scored his second goal of the game after a beautifully executed play starting from a pass by sophomore forward
