Noah Beaudet Explodes for Career-High 34 Points, Moves to Seventh All-Time in Program History in Single-Game Scoring

BOSTON, Mass. – Junior guard Noah Beaudet exploded for a career-high 34 points on Friday afternoon, moving into seventh all-time in single-game scoring in program history. He passes former Saints Joe Tamburro, Kyle Davis, and Connor Morgan, all tied at 33 points.

Emmanuel College (12-11, 6-4 Great Northeast Athletic Conference) put together a complete performance on both ends of the floor, defeating Mitchell 98-80 at the Jean Yawkey Center on Senior Night. Before the game, Emmanuel recognized it's two seniors, Jacob Williams and Ismani Cepeda.

The game featured 10 lead changes and was tied 10 times, with neither team able to pull away in a back-and-forth first half that saw Emmanuel take a slim 44-43 advantage into the break.

The Saints were led by the spectacular 34-point outburst from Beaudet, who connected on 12-of-21 shooting including 6-of-9 from beyond the arc. Beaudet also grabbed four rebounds and dished out two assists in 28 minutes of action.

The Saints seized control in the second half, using a combination of offensive efficiency and defensive intensity to gradually extend their lead. Emmanuel shot 54.3% from the field in the second half while holding Mitchell to just 39.4% shooting after the break.

Emmanuel's balanced attack featured four players in double figures. Mahari Guerrier contributed 16 points on 6-of-15 shooting while adding four rebounds. Cameron Snowden also scored 16 points on an efficient 5-of-7 from the field, adding six free throws without a miss. The big man controlled the glass with five rebounds and distributed five assists while playing lockdown defense with three blocked shots.

Danny Adams orchestrated the offense with 15 points and a team-high six assists, while Manny Duran provided a spark off the bench with 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting.

Emmanuel dominated in the paint, outscoring Mitchell 54-40 in that area, and also held advantages in fast break points (18-11) and second-chance points (7-3). The Saints shot 52.9% from the field for the game compared to Mitchell's 47.0%, and converted at a 65.4% clip from the free-throw line on 26 attempts.

Abdul Mansaray paced Mitchell with 20 points and 13 rebounds, while Troy Butler also scored 20 points. Collin Jefferson added 14 points off the bench.
