WINTHROP, Mass. - For the third time this season and the third time in the last four weeks, Saints junior
Kason Huynh has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Setter of the Week honors, as announced by the GNAC Office on Monday afternoon.
In a two-match week for the Saints, Huynh averaged 9.67 assists per set in a pair of wins, which helped Emmanuel clinch a perfect GNAC regular season and the No. 1 seed for the postseason tournament. Huynh also finished with 16 digs in six sets in the victories over Elms and Norwich.
The GNAC Postseason starts on Tuesday, Nov. 11, as the Saints host New England College at 7:00 p.m. in the GNAC Quarterfinals. The Saints have home court advantage throughout the playoffs with the GNAC Semifinals on Thursday and the GNAC Championship scheduled for Saturday.
