WINTHROP, Mass. – A pair of Saints men's soccer players have been voted to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference Teams, as announced by the GNAC Office on Tuesday afternoon.
Sophomores Rafael Matamoros and Benjamin Anderson were voted to the GNAC Second Team and GNAC Third Team, respectively, as voted on by the coaching staffs of the conference.
Matamoros moves up from the Third Team as a first-year to a Second Team selection in his sophomore season. Matamoros finished the season with four goals and four assists for 12 points. He finished second on the team in goals and points while being tied for first in assists.
Anderson found a home in the Saints defensive line this season, earning his first nomination to a GNAC All-Conference Team. Anderson started and played in all but one match for the Saints in 2025, earning 17 starts, while totaling one goal and one assist on the year.
The Saints season ended in the GNAC Quarterfinals, falling in penalty kicks to the eventual runner-up of the GNAC Tournament, the Rivier Raiders.
