GORHAM, Maine - After two weeks off, Emmanuel men's wrestling returned to the mat on Saturday, competing in the 30th annual Ted Reese Invitational, hosted by the University of Southern Maine.

Luke Driscoll made the deepest run of the day for the Saints, making it to the semifinals of the winners' bracket in the 184-pound bracket. A fall at 1:32 in the round of 16, followed by a 4-3 decision in the quarterfinals, led Driscoll to the last four wrestlers on Saturday.Â

Jhay Napoleon scored a pair of victories in the 174-pound tournament, advancing to the quarterfinals on the day. Napoleon's victories came via a 16-1 technical fall in the first round, followed by a pinfall at 6:15 in the round of 16.
Emmanuel takes another two-week break before heading to Revo, Nev. for the Tournament of Champions event on Sunday, Dec. 21.
