WINTHROP, Mass. – A pair of top-10 finishes in the field for Saints senior Cynthia Brito resulted in her earning the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the GNAC Office on Monday evening.

At Friday's Reggie Lewis Open, Brito came in third place in the triple jump with a distance of 10.57 meters. Brito added a ninth place finish in the long jump after a distance of 4.59 meters. The triple jump distance for Brito set a new indoor PR for the senior field star.

The Saints take this weekend off before the GNAC Indoor Championship Meet on Sunday, Feb. 16, hosted at Boston University. Events for the day start at 11:00 a.m.
