DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Emmanuel cross country posted multiple personal bests on Saturday morning at the 52nd UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational.
The Saints men were led by junior
Luke Bullock, who finished his 8k race in a time of 28:31.3, a personal best. Sophomore
Alex Mazzarelli and junior
Ryan Bausch were next over the line for the Saints, finishing in personal best times of 29:20.2 and 29:36.5, respectively. The men's team did not compete in the overall team competition.
For the Emmanuel women, junior
Kendall Newton lead the way with a 6k time of 24:40.2, a new personal best. Senior,
Sydney Gonzalez crossed the line next in a PR time of 25:10.2.
Molly Hough,
Julia Kurthy, and
Mia DeMore each posted new personal records to add to Emmanuel's score. The Saints women's program finished in 28
th place.
Emmanuel has a small break before taking a trip to Northfield, Vermont to compete in the Cadets Cross Country Invitational at Norwich University XC Course on Friday, October 3.
