BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel men's wrestling pressed on with the 2026 portion of the season, hosting the second-ever dual match on Yosinoff Court, while suffering a 27-18 loss at the hands of the Rhode Island College Anchormen on Wednesday evening in the Jean Yawkey Center.

The night opened with first-year Luke Driscoll scoring a pinfall win in just 59 seconds, as the Saints took a 6-0 lead on the back of the quick fall in the 184-pound class. The Saints cut the deficit in the 133 weight class with first-year Zachary Brzoska earning an 8-3 decision for the home side, as Emmanuel now trailed 15-8. The Anchormen bounced back with an 11-6 decision in the 144 class, retaking a 10-point lead.

First-year Jared Hood kept the home team within striking distance, thanks to a 9-0 major decision at 149 pounds, but the Anchormen squashed the Saints momentum as a pinfall win at 157 and a 5-3 decision at 165 for RIC lifted them to a 27-12.
